This is it, your once-a-year chance to visit one of Queensland’s biggest and busiest carrot farms! Be quick, tickets will sell out.

Get muddy picking your own carrots, take the paddock-to-packet journey in our wet & wild carrot washing factory, see our amazing tractors and meet the team of very talented farmers.

Bring your kids to the farm and let us share our love of vegetable farming with you.

Important information:

🥕Bookings for Carrot Day tours are essential.

🥕Please bring cash to buy food, drinks and fresh in-season veggies (bring an esky)

🥕We’ll be selling BBQ’d carrot snags, carrot bread, carrot juice, Annie’s famous carrot cake, coffee (no carrots in that!) and other hot drinks.

🥕The ticket price includes a factory tour, carrot picking, a bag of carrots, and our wonkiest carrot competition!

A few things to be aware of:

• You must wear sturdy enclosed shoes to take part in this event
• You will be walking through a working factory so parents must be responsible for their children and follow all instructions from our staff.
• No bags or loose items are allowed in the factory, you will need to leave these in your car, or with our tour manager.
• No animals are allowed on site.
• Some parts of the factory are not accessible for people who have impaired mobility but please email info@kalfresh.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• Tickets are non-refundable but if you are unable to attend due to ill health contact us and we will offer your tickets to our waitlist.

Does my ticket include carrot picking & factory tour?

Yes. We schedule the factory tours to manage the crowd through our working factory.

How long is the factory tour?

The tour of our factory will take approximately 25minutes. However on the same site there will be other activities, including tractor display, and you are free to spend as much as time as you want enjoying these.

How long should I allow at your event?

We suggest visitors allow about two hours to do both factory tour and carrot picking. While the factory tours are scheduled, your time in the paddock is untimed. You can stay for as long or as little as you wish.

Where do I come?

We will send details out prior to the event, however the factory tour and tractor display is at our Kalbar HQ on the Cunningham Highway. The carrot paddock is nearby (a 5 minute drive) and we will provide details when you arrive.
